The only office package that can compete with Microsoft office package is Open office package. Not only because it is free, because of its qualities the Open office package has taken a goodwill all around the world. The officers who worked hard to gain this goodwill had represented an another office package. That’s name is “LibreOffice 3.0”. Now the beta version of this package has been released. Sun Microsystems had contributed to represent the previous office package. Oracle company had bought the Sun Microsystems on 20th April 2009. Then the all thing that related to Office package had been owned to the Oracle company. The policies are also owned to them.
The main officers of previous office package dad thought that the influences that coming from Oracle company to the open source projects that contributed by Sun Microsystems are bad and leaved the Oracle company and established a new foundation called “The Document Foundation”. The LibreOffice had been represented by this foundation.
The OpenOffice package had been very famous because of the cleverness of the creators and officers and not because of the Sun Microsystems. Now the friends of these officers presented to help them. The OpenOffice package is the office package that given with Linux based operating systems. Now the LibreOffice ahs been decides to give with Ubuntu.
Other than these the Novel and RedHat companies give their help to increase the popularity of LibreOffice. Now the officers of LibreOffice asks from Oracle to give helps and funds that they can give.
